EBU super featherweight champion Samir Ziani (31-3-1) retained the title last night in Agen (France) with a unanimous decision over Belgian challenger Faroukh Kourbanov (16-2). It wasnt easy and Ziani also had problems making the weight. At the end it was scored 116-112 twice and 119-109. Zianis manager Gary Hyde is now looking for big fights in the UK.
