Didn't watch the video & am completely against the franchise belt...BUT I see it as kindve like this based on research:

The franchise belt originally was given to Nelo because he was already basically unified by being the Lineal & 3 original "real" belts holder at mw(Andrade beat a no hoper 4 joke wbo pos),AND Nelo has been repping WBC off & on for 10 yrs,

AND he is moving up fighting champs at higher divisions in the attempt to make history in holding belts in 3 weight classes at once as well as having a literally 1 of a kind most lucrative in history 11 fight network deal,meaning he is the literal definition of being above belts as well as the only fighter that truly doesn't need the WBC to the pt he already told them to go fck themselves & they were trying to suck him off at every turn to make amends

Nelos literally the only fighter who wbc needs more than he needs them,so they gave him a special belt that meant they get sanctioning fees regardless of who nelo fights & what weight,& it allowed him to hop between divisions whenever he feels like to continue making the biggest best fights & continues earning that Dazn chedda".


Nelo is literally the most unique of cases to try justifying that bs trinket. And its also my understanding that WBC diamond belt goes to the fighter that beats nelo & therefore means they have to unify vs the *actual* wbc champ to determine who the champ is.

In the meantime the WBC champ gets to be full champ while waiting on Nelo lottery.


Now as for Loma you have someone who got to break WBC rules to jump the line & fight the far weaker fighter in Campbell for the belt instead of Haney the young undefeated powerful skillful lion that was supposed to be next in line.

Loma(& his fans) supposedly cares so much about mandatories when its brain trauma victims like Crolla,but not if its Haney whom Bob said he would duck by moving down as soon as he becomes unified,(just as Crawford moved up when he unified rather than face the better fighters at 140 & actually defend those belts(even if the bs Ibf would've stripped him),he beat the weakest opponents in history in order to become unified with mostly a bunch of vacant belts & then moved up & went after Horns trinket & Bob claimed he didn't want manny because of wanting to protect pac(BS!)& Since then Crawford's fought bums,no wonder he says he doesn't want franchise status he like wbo bum mandatories.)

But Loma literally hasn't repped WBC in his entire career til Arum bribed Sulaimans so he can get gifted that belt & avoid Haney in 1 swoop. He doesn't have anything preventing him from fighting Haney while waiting almost a yr for the wbo champ. Haney already said he'll take whatever scraps hes given to make that fight. Loma is not a cashcow above belts,& is not in any way shape or form going to be moving up like Nelo or holding belts in multiple weights & in fact said he'll move down instead of fighting Haney(quack quack quack)

The WBC already allows fighters automatic exceptions in order to fight other champs anyways so the LITERAL only reason Loma has to request franchise status is so he can sit on shelf while ducking Haney & then be champ when he moves down,& he will then not have to fight the wbc champ at 130 anyways.

That is the million dollar question. Excellent post.

Bottom line is I've been saying for a while now,all the WBC had to do was put a clause in their rules that champ gets to fight any other champ in any division & they'll get an exception from mandos,but as soon as they're fighting someone whos not a champ or whos not a lucrative money fight,or if they choose to sit on their ass waiting rather than fight their mando,then they should be stripped.

If they'd have done that then Loma would have been stripped because he's trying to wait around a long time for the wbo eliminator(what if its a draw ffs).

Bottom line is Loma has Zero excuse not to fight Haney right now,zilch,cero,none,nada,Nashi,aucun.(every languages version of zero/none)

Almost every single loma fan on this site acts as if Nelo is supposed to fight LITERALLY the absolute most difficult opponent & if possible with most power & in his prime fighter every single fight in a row & many sht on his opponents even when they fit that criteria,"well here it is mutha fckas,time to put up or shut up loma fans" either loma is the best & supposed atg or he isn't.
