Comments Thread For: Josh Taylor: I'll Bring a Traveling Army To U.S. For Jose Ramirez

Josh Taylor says he hopes he will "take a traveling army" to the United States if that is where he needs to go to face Jose Ramirez. The 28-year-old Scot set his sights straight on a fight with Ramirez, the WBC and WBO super-lightweight champion, after unifying the WBA and IBF titles with a majority points decision over Regis Prograis in the final of the World Boxing Super Series at the O2 arena, London.

The Tart-Tomato doesn't have much left, every time Josh Taylor fights better opposition he comes out mangled and severely damaged. Jose Ramirez is the Tart-Tomato's size, if little Regis Pro gave Taylor all that work, what is Ramirez going to do to Josh at home?

I'm glad he's making the right noises at least. Josh is a fine fighter and he's earned his place at the top of the pile, but it ain't gone unnoticed that he's had the home advantage in every single one of his major fights. For me the ability to fight and win on the road is a vitally important characteristic in a championship level fighter.

That traveling Army won’t help him in the ring. Ramirez beats him
