As a Prograis fan, I have no problem with the narrow decision for Taylor. But how could anyone possibly give Round 12 to Taylor? That was as clear a Prograis round as any of the middle rounds were for Taylor.

It makes you wonder if he didn’t want to score the fight a draw given Taylor’s overall superiority.

I'm sure 'Scene's unofficial card was 7-5 in favour of Taylor, which matched mine at least in the total if not exactly on individual rounds. If you apply a 2 round average swing to account for difference in scoring tastes, it could have been scored a draw or a narrow win for Prograis instead. One card was too wide though, so maybe Montella should have to answer a few questions.

I agree with you about Ward-Kovalev I but this was a totally different fight. I was a fan of both fighters equally going in and thus judged the fight accordingly and still had it 7-5 Taylor. Sure there were close rounds that could've went either way but I thought if anyone edged the bulk of those close rounds it was Taylor. I agree about the 12th. I had Prograis winning the last two rounds pretty clearly. Unfortunately it was a little too late for me. A draw would've been justified but so is a 7-5 win for Taylor. Stop acting like there was any corruption in the scoring, even Prograis though Taylor was the better man on the night.

Unless there is unification, immediate rematch must he ordered
Why does an immediate rematch need to be ordered if Taylor won fair and square? I'm sure you American fans would be saying Prograis "schooled" Taylor if the decision went the other way and there is no need for a rematch. Let Prograis beat a legit contender and then they can talk about a possible rematch. I'm sure most fans without blatant bias would rather see a unification. Taylor is now #1, Ramirez is #2.
