I actually wouldn't mind that. Teixeira got stopped early vs Stevens, but he's not a bad fighter by an means and has a solid skill set.
But I'm pretty sure the WBC has ordered Lubin vs Garcia to become the mandatory. Sign me up for that as well. Winner of Charlo/Harrison II is going to fight presumably JRock next June, so end of next year Lubin can get his shot for the title, if he gets past Garcia.
Robert Easter...he clearly has "dog" in him. I didnt see ANY this in the Mikey Garcia fight. Mikey started getting inside, and Easter wanted NONE if that. He went into his shell, timid, and was easily outworked by Mikey. I'm like, okay, Amir Imam 2.0 . A guy that can box on the outside, but cant take a real fight on the inside.
Here, Easter fought a guy that was even more rugged on the inside than Mikey. He uses his left arm to shield against Granados' bull rush, hits him with a right to the body and left to the chin! He circled away from Granados, but if there was inside action, he was willing to slug it out!
I don't know what was in Easter's head in the Mikey fight...he dominating Mikey when it was kept at distance, then wilted when it went inside.
