I have this real feeling that hanshaw will take it and become a true force at 168, mendy is going to be tought to beat because he does have pop and a good style. everyone else is in that tounament is dreaming or is irish cause they are going to need all the luck to beat those two. I really want to see hanshaw do well.

well after seeing the first opening two fights, i thought Buchanan was sloppy the whole fight and it was more of his opponent not coming to fight himself, Buchanan has speed and quickness, but lacks accuracy and really did some unneccessary showboating when he really hadn't proved anything.. a nice win for Mendy, i thought the stoppage was fine as Vargas was not defending himself intelligently at all.. look forward to the last two 1st round fights next friday

My prediction for the first semi-final? I see Mendy dominating Buchanan.
