You're over exaggerating,nowhere was Regis being stopped, he landed the harder shots but were few in between . I think Taylor was stunned slightly more in some areas of the fight but he clearly won ,he also fought Regis fight on the inside.

That was a good call, though I wouldn't have bet against Taylor. Most saw that as a clear but still razor thin victory by Taylor. I picked Regis, but not confident enough to put up points or anything. I suspected something close.
And I don't know if that makes Taylor the defacto unified best 140 in the world. You still have a unified Jose Ramirez out there to contend with. If I had to pick who is #1 today in the Jr Welters, I would still pick Jose.
I suspect and hope to see another undisputed at 140 in 2020.

I thought it was a damn good fight with lots of close exchanges which is what I like to see. Seemed like both guys earned each other's respect as well. Overall great fight for boxing.
