What good is a BoxingScene Champion if it just reflects another popular boxing outlet's decisions and defaults to their opinions and criteria?

There is no room for Ring, ESPN, TBRB, or anyone else's input beyond their influence over our members; you're more than welcome to vote for TBRB lineals here.

BoxingScene Champions are the champions BoxingScene sees as the champion in each division.

Fury is not the lineal champion right now, either. He retired, he vacated the claim. ESPN is just hyping up his false claim to sell his fights because no new lineal champion has been crowned since Fury vacated.

The only real champions right now in boxing

Light Heavyweight: Artur Beterbiev (b. Gvozdyk)

Middleweight: Canelo Alvarez (b. Golovkin to win title he previously vacated after winning it from Cotto)

Super Welterweight: Mikey Garcia (b. Sergey Lipinets to win vacant title, but hasn't defended it in over a year. If his next fight is not at 140, he vacates)

Super Bantamweight: Guillermo Rigondeaux (b. Nonito Donaire)

Super Flyweight: Juan Franciso Estrada (b. Srisaket Sor Rungvisai)
