Crawford is the one that should have embraced that persona as he is legitimately a mean dude. Could have sold it well too.
All he has to do is keep being himself. He's polarizing because he's associated with PBC so simply by being successful he'll become more polarizing because for years boxing fans were fooled into thinking Haymon was bad for boxing. He couldn't make stars outside of Floyd. PBC was going to fail. The more success he has the madder they get. Look at how crazy they went over a simple Instagram post he made after the accident.

I remember GGG was called a star for doing 150k PPV buys and a $1.5 gate.

Prices vary from fight to fight obviously. Still 90k fans in Wembley to see AJ doesn’t hold a gate record or anything. That being said all arenas are stuck with around the same number of premium seats, it’s the amount of cheaper seats that can only differ. Ud have to see a uk and a Vegas fight both with the same amount of ppv buys, and same amount of tickets sold and then analyze the gates.

GGG was getting over 1 million viewers on premium cable. He's a proven star.

No one hates Spence! And if they do they are irrelevent those days are OVER!

Spence has his homegrown fans, his fans combined with another boxer's fan base you have a big fight. No need to appeal to people who hate you! Take the Canelo route and appeal to your natural fans. Spence is doing it the right way!

But your ticket sales info even counts tickets at brokers who end up selling them way cheaper or eating them. Or casino buying tickets to giveaway. It’s not 100% legit
