  • Errol Spence Jr vs Shawn Porter Sells 13k Tickets, $2.3M Live Gate

Finally they got the commission report in.

    Sold - 12,671
    Exempt - 1,390

Will be interesting to see what Wilder vs Ortiz does at the gate, but no one aside from Pacquiao, Canelo, or AJ are matching Spence in the states.

Not according to that list that's just been posted in this very thread.

No one aside from Canelo/Pacquiao/Joshua are hitting 2M in gate. I mean Wilder/Fury obviously killed that amount, but that was against each other. We have seen Fury, albeit against inferior competition get in the high 900k range, but not close to 2M.

Spence did 4.7M vs Mikey at Cowboys stadium but that was a much bigger fight and then he comes back and does about 2.3M against Porter in LA.

Again, no one in touching him as of right now minus the three I mentioned. To be determined with Wilder, maybe he does this or gets close to this against Ortiz. That is yet to be seen, but because the fight is happening in Vegas, will be easy to get the numbers for that fight.

Not necessarily. On some UK cards I bet it goes higher than this, ala Joshua. But overall I bet most are decently priced. The problem is no one can get the REAL numbers to their cards. UK is VERY secretive in everything and none of their reporters get these types of reports or even PPV numbers.
