i'd tell any boxer anything I thought about them to their face. I'd be polite about it, not trying to start fights with boxers that's just ******. But if like Margarito or Corrales asked me what I thought of them, I'd tell them.

Key word in "pro boxing" which is pro. A boxer hopefully is going to be thick skinned enough to listen to criticism. If they do wail off and hit you (or me), ok fine that's their choice, depending on the situation I'd let the courts handle it. You can be honest with someone and still remain cordial. I just sometimes choose not to on my boxing show.

Why? They're boxing celebrities who transcended the sport as much as anybody in the last 10 years. Trinidad is a hero in his country, and Roy was an unorthodox fighter who make boxing fun (like Sugar Ray Leonard) for even non-boxing fans. It's just that most non-boxing fans failed to realize Roy was doing these tricks on bums and not elite fighters. Trinidad was great for boxing, and Wright basically ****ed boxing in the ass by dominating him into a 2nd retirement last year.

I don't like their personalities and therefore why would I waste my time going to meet someone I dislike and wouldn't enjoy spending time with?

Also, you just mentioned two reasons why I dislike RJJ and Trinidad.

RJJ with his bums and showboating.

Trinidad with his crying and double retirement because he can't handle being beaten.

??? dude your crazy. Even if you dislike them for whatever reason it is still an honor to meet these guys. i would love to shoot the **** with someone like Gatti or Johnny Tapia. I'd love to sit and get drunk with Johnny Tapia and have him tell me his life story and ****.

Tell me how it's an honor to meet someone you dislike, cannot stand and have no respect for?

To me it would be hypocritical and a huge waste of time if I were to waste any of my time or money meeting someone I didn't like.

I didn't really ask him about message boards, lol. It was funny because this old guy behind me told him he could win his next fight (the opponent is TBA LOL!!!) if he matures in the ring, and Zab just kept nodding and saying yeah, uh huh, okay like he didn't give a **** and this old man was dumb as hell. I told the old man later I thought Zab needed to mature in the ring as well but I wouldn't say that to his face like he did. I guess he figured he's old and Zab wouldn't dare kick his ass.
