    When Eliminators Go Wild....

Tonight Sultan Ibragimov, who screwed himself coming in that heavy if you ask me, fought to a draw with Ray Austin. I apologize if this was answered in one of the threads on the fight but: What happens when a title eliminator ends in a draw? I mean, now there is no mandatory for the IBF title...so...what do they do? Do it again? What is done to establish a mandatory now? Those were the men who were getting their shot....do they not have another chance..or...? Sorry if I should know this, I honestly don't.

They both go to prison to rethink their actions and #3 and #4 fight. Actually, they'll just order an immediate rematch, and I think both guys would take it. Nothing else really makes sense. It also means, I believe, that Wlad can fight another opponent of his choosing after Briggs. If I'm Wlad, I use that as an opportunity to unify some ****in belts. Fight Liakovich, *****.

or they could give Brock the chance to fight Klitsckho since he won his eliminator against Timur Ibragimov.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch. Sultan showed me that, despite some flaws, he does have a good punch. Still, he was less active than in the past and if you saw him for the first time in his match against Austin you probably weren't too excited with what you saw. Why Sultan, why?

When Ray knocked him down. Sultan just tried to box rather than punch.

When he landed that lunging shot at the end of the what...fourth..I thought the tides were going to change. That Sultan had woken up and was going to start his regular volumn of punches. Nope. He kept trying to figure a way inside, but couldn't. Now everyone on the board who hadn't seen him before tonight doesn't know just how exciting he can be. Bastard Ibragimovs.

Tonight Ibragimov got exposed. All you have to do is do the Tua method. Which is to keep your height and jab and catch while the fighter is coming in.

im sorry but im gonna cut my losses and kick sultans ass to the curb

i thought he had potential but ray austin is no better than danny williams or dominic guinn, sultan is going out audley harrison style.

agreed, while i had though igrbaminovs southpaw stance and power would be one of few potential threats to wlad i now have to say that i think wlad could beat sultan easily with nothing more than his jab.
