Can someone explain the AJ-Ruiz conspiracy theory to me?

Where did this conspiracy theory originate?

Why is it coming up now?

    Who knew about it?

    Who benefits from it?

Why would AJ throw the fight?

Any other details would also be greatly appreciated!

Boxing gots some of the dumbest fans in sports. Some of those dummies could start or easily spread a dumb rumor like a fight was fixed or other dumbassery.

I can't think of any possible benefit AJ would get from being KOed. It would be far better in every way for him to win as expected. If he wins the rematch by KO he still has the KO loss on his record and that hurts his reputation as a boxer and his ability to make money at boxing.
