Yeah if it comes together it sounds like a dangerous fight for Klitschko. Seems like Briggs is finally commited and focused and he has always had size and some skill.

I think many in boxing do not give Briggs credit. However why should they he has not beat a top guy since the controvery with the forman fight. Then you have old man mercer who he beat, but he has the best skills of anyone besides klit and he is not the same man he was when he fought mcline. He is now focused and in the gym with a real trainer jeff mayweather. His style will stay but he will learn a lot of suttle stuff and use it to set up his big guns. He looks better than ever and will bring it to klit like its his last fight, well maybe last title fight but it is very winable for him. I think he has a slight advantage in power. Klit has more speed both throw very good straight punches. Both have unresolved stamina issues and niether can take flush power shots with out feeling it. Briggs will have a size advantage. by like 15 pounds and his frame is much bigger than klits. Kilt is more accurate with his punches and briggs is not bad himself. However briggs has no problem letting his hands go and klit does. I briggs trains hard gets down to 255 and can fight 12 rounds at a good clip this is going to be a great compedative pickum fight. I'd put my money on briggs only because he will be the underdog.

I don't think Briggs will win but I think that the first couple of rounds will be edge-of-seaters for Wlad fans. I think Briggs will go hell for leather and Wlad will do his usual jab and survive job.
It's a shame because Briggs has some skills and power but an 11 fight winning streak only really helps if you have been tested as you go. Briggs by his own admission has fought a few in 'barnyards' and that will make it hard to beat the undisputedly most focussed and disciplined heavyweight fighting at this time.
I'm hoping for a good fight and won't be unhappy if either fighter wins. I suppose that I will root for Wlad in the end mainly because I want a title unifier and he is more likely to achieve this.
