    I been saying this...
Beterbievs body punching would be a nightmare for Canelo.

Kov throws some wicked shots to the body but he usually only goes downstairs when he's got someone trapped on the ropes. & I don't expect Canelo to sit on the ropes at all.

Kov should take a page from Floyd and stick that jab to the body all night. I think that's gonna be one of his best assets.

Sometimes I think body shots is the only way nelo can win fights.
It gives the impression to judges his opponents are uncomfortable and subconsciously think nel o is winning.

Let's go to the body of the smaller sharper fighter nothing can go wrong there.

Going to the body is generally a solid strategy, but there is a reason that good body punchers like Golovkin, Chavez, and others do not go to Canelo's body. What discourages them from doing so is Canelo's counters. But I do agree that jabs to the chest might have more success on Canelo than the traditional body attack with left hooks.

This is not going to be an easy fight for Canelo. Kovalev is a powerful puncher and can still fight.

Going up in weight is just gonna give Clenelo more stamina issues than he already has

It’s much easier for a shorter guy to go to the body, Buddy has fallen for their trap in trying to make it a inside fight that always favors the shorter guy

Canelo's boxing ability, specifically his defense and counter ability, are going to make it tough to have a dedicated body attack. Kovalev doesn't have the track record of being a great body puncher. He does use a jab to the body that can be effective against Canelo. It's a long jab that can stab Canelo to the body and still be at a distance to be out of reach. He might also be effective with the cross to the body, but he'll leave himself open to counters.

Despite how people want to paint it, Kov is a future HOFer, titleholder, and is still an elite fighter. This might be a mix of the Kovalev vs. Alvarez fights. Whoever wins will depend on Kovalev's ability to keep the fight on the outside and who finishes the fight better.
