Comments Thread For: Prograis Remains Betting Favorite Despite Late Money On Taylor

From the moment the field was revealed for the World Boxing Super Series 140-pound tournament, the majority of boxing fans and insiders were certain that Regis Prograis and Josh Taylor would meet in the final round. To this day, that same camp remains torn on the outcome for their unification clash, which takes place Saturday evening at The O2 in London, England.

Taylor is a big mean guy that's well schooled, fights dirty if he needs to and he has real skills.

Prograis is a stylistic quagmire with an absolute feeling of destiny that goes far beyond confidence. He's dangerous with both hands and comes to win.

If Taylor can't hurt Prograis...Regis will stop him.

That's as much of a prediction as I can objectively make.

PS, I just had this to add...Taylor looks better on tape but keep in mind, Prograis fought Errol Spence twice and Josh Taylor is no Errol Spence. When Regis said that Josh is nothing he hasn't seen he's just being honest.

This is what a real boxing should be and one that I am honored to pay for.

Prograis does NOT have a better resume than prograis . I believe postol s far better than anyone Prograis has faced. Still, this should be good

Bit on the fence with this one.. like Beterbiev vs Gvoznyk last week. Keep going from one to the other. Got it right last week so.. going with power over movement once again: Prograis by SD or late KO.

So pumped for this fight! I think Taylor is the more fundamentally sound fighter, but he gets hit with regularity and when he gets hit he throws boxing out the window. I think prograis is better in a fire fight so I’ll give him the edge. Either way it should be a great one

I still can't settle on a winner for this fight, seem to change my mind daily. Prograis hits harder and is better at range despite being smaller, but Taylor is physically bigger, stronger and better on the inside. Skill-wise they seem evenly matched but I'd shade Taylor on that by a hair's breadth. Right now I'll go for Taylor by close but unanimous decision due to being better than Prograis on the night at neutralizing his opponent; but tomorrow I'll probably say Prograis capitalizes on a flash knock-down for a TKO after Taylor switches off for a split second.

                  I'm laughing at the offer of a +135 for Tarto-Tomato by BetOnline.ag.

I'm glad Josh Taylor is overrated, otherwise I would of had to increase my wager by three times to make a profit on Prograis. Regis Pro should actually be a -700 favorite, not -160. The 'Tart-Tomato' should be a +700 to win by decision and a +1000 by KO -- hes trash.
