based on your reply it sounds like you now agree with what I said which is, that dazn would be the difference maker for him as far as opponent selection. Not golden boy. Golden boy has 1 fighter who matters at mw and from what I've heard, he's not too happy with golden boy himself these days.

they should sing to golden boy to fight a washed up lemieux who can't even make 160 anymore? Not a good plan. If anything signing with dazn would make more sense because that opens up options to face Canelo, ggg and Jacobs. Being with golden boy wouldn't do much for them.

to be honest, I'm not sure. Yes golden boy would make a better option of that'd guarantee him at shot at Canelo, but I'm not sure golden boy would want to make that match because and at the end of the day, dazn is the one who narrows down the list of names he can face. Golden boy basically gave up power in the dazn deal in that regard. Having the option of facing Lemuiex would not make golden boy a better option than being with Haymon.

Charlo is being ducked by boxers who can pick and choose who they fight so Hogan grabs the opportunity and good on him for doing that. He may be boring and pillow fisted and will probably lose but for him that's beside the point, he's trying.

He fought Vanes as a replacement when Canelo tested positive so he wouldn't risk losing and thus losing the opportunity to fight Cnelo. Charlo is fighting Hogan to avoid losing in the hopes he gets a Canelo fight. Not exactly the saem but its pretty obvious why both guys made these choices in opponents.

Not really, DZAN works with Golden Boy and Matchroom, you have to pick one, doesn't work the other way.
