No British Fighters are currently banned for doping

Despite all the fights in the United Kingdom every year, UKAD/BBBoC have bans on only three boxers currently and none of them are British. American Eric Molina, Croatian Ivan Bacurin and German Jan Meiser are all banned but no one else is.

Dillian Whyte failed a UKAD drug test this year before his fight with Oscar Rivas. The failed result was buried and Whyte was allowed to fight. No reason as to why was ever given and the failed test was only revealed thanks to a report on boxingscene.com.

Tyson Fury also failed a drug test immediately following his fight with Christian Hammer in 2015. The result was also buried. Hammer’s team was never informed and Fury was allowed to fight Wladimir Klitschko next despite his failed test. Klitschko was also never informed of Fury’s positive test and neither was the WBO, who had named Fury as their mandatory challenger.

Fury then failed a VADA test for ******* prior to a scheduled rematch with Wladimir Klitschko before retiring from boxing. He was given a back dated ban when he decided to return to boxing, meaning he never missed any scheduled fights or suffered any consequences.
