Serrano can use all the excuses she wants. She would lose to Taylor and she knows it. The fight aint happening because 1- her promoter is protecting her and 2- she is high on her horse right now but she knows she'll be bucked off after she loses. As for all the ignorant comments about Taylor losing and ducking rematches well, all I can say is if your blind and ignorant don't comment on one of the most skilled fighters in the sport! Open your eyes and learn something.

Taylor doesn't deserve ****, she robbed Persoon and avoided the rematch with her.

She is a fraud and a paper champ.

She is not the real Champ, Persoon is.

Persoon paid for her training camp by doing overtime in her job as a police officer, sacrificed so much only to get robbed by Taylor then rob her of a rematch.

They took her away some big days her status as well as her belts.

And all that BS from Taylor about how she would give her an immediate rematch, when she knew she had no intention to take that risk again.

Good comment. I like both fighters but Katie is amazing. So is Serrano. Serrano is a feather while Katie is a lightweight. Advantage: Katie. I respect both these women. Bow.

Katie's last fight was against a superwelter. I had her winning by a point or two in a rough, tough, close fight. There was no robbery, tho.

I thought Persoon won first fight. It was close and both had there rounds. I think Serrano beats Katie.

Never mind who needs who on a personal basis. If women's boxing is to be made more successful as a sport it needs the big names to fight each other in division hopping events. Size-wise, Taylor is between Serrano and Braekhus and close enough to both for fights to be made without an unsafe size advantage. Same goes for Braekhus with Shields at the divisions above.
Persoon and McCaskill both proved themselves in great fights with Taylor already so they could be thrown in the mix between 135 and 147. Marshall is getting close to a 168 title shot, and has amateur history with Shields, so that fight could be made down the line as well.
