He said that if he has to fight Allen one more time after that fight, he's gonna personally send a letter to Senator Mccain hahaha. The first fight ended with Mills Lane pushing hopkins out of the ring, the 2nd fight was the rematch in which Allen just got ran through. The 3rd, he was a mandatory and basically a tuneup for the big Oscar fight. You know, how GGG fought his bs mandatories to keep his belts

I like Tarver, but that's his fault. And Tito was a 3-1 favorite over Bernard when they fault. everyone except maybe 2 sportswriters picked Tito, including me AND YOU TOO(you can lie to us, but we all know better). So after Hopkins destroys him, Tito was too small. If everyone knew this, they could have bankrupted the ******** spots
No I did not pick Tito to win that fight. Casual sportswriters who think Ali was the GOAT are the ones who favored Tito. Hopkins was too big, and he had a style that would offset Tito's left hook. It was as good a win as GGG over Brook, Canelo over Khan, Floyd over Marquez. Take it for what it's worth. Facts are facts, Bernard did not want a rematch with prime Jones. He insisted on pricing himself out. Even when he finally fought him, his disgraceful antics in the ring pretending to be hurt to draw a foul or DQ (he would do this again with Dawson) were pathetic.

Hopkins was a dirty, boring, racist fighter. I give him credit for being able to fight on to an advanced age, his conditioning was always top rate, I'll give him that.

Hopkins definitely earned all the flak he got over the years legitly.

After looking through the posts defending the statement that BHop was truly a light heavyweight draining himself down to middleweight, it's pretty obvious the majority of these people just dislike Hopkins.

Hopkins obviously had the physicality to compete at 175lbs, but he also was small enough to consistently make 160lbs in a healthy manner and compete at the elite level. He's just terrific fighter who was able to have success at both 160lbs and 175lbs.

I am definitely not a fan of his, but he is a 160 pounder. He actually could probably make 154. He was kind of like Hagler and medium to small sized Middleweight.
