Tis' the season for unification. In a one-month span, a handful of divisions in the sport will have coronated unified champions to join an elite pack of pugilists. On Sept. 28, Errol Spence Jr. unified the welterweight division by beating Shawn Porter, and he now holds the WBC and IBF titles. On Oct. 18, Artur Beterbiev knocked out Oleksandr Gvozdyk and now sports the WBC and IBF light heavyweight titles.

    Taylor’s opposition > Prograis opposition.

Postol and Baranchyk beat anyone on Prograis’ resume.

Prograis would batter the Scot that blocks punches with his face. He’s the poor man’s Ricky Hatton, lol.

It's interesting because there seems to be validity in both arguments. Josh has the better competition/names on his record, but he's not really dominant, not even against the caliber of opponents Regis has been dominant.

This will be a good fight!

Neither will be tested until they meet the real champ at 140 Jose Ramirez.

In his last fight Taylor showed boxing skills and poise in dealing with a bull like Baranchyk. With Prograis things will be different because he can box too and have real power with both hands. In my opinion if Taylor wins is by boxing very smart and avoid to slug it out

It’s not always a good thing to have never been tested.

The biggest prize in boxing awaits the winner. An easy defence vs Lewis Ritson

This is such a hard fight to pick. I'm leaning towards Taylor but I could easily see prograis winning too. I think it's probably gonna b Taylor by decision but could possibly b prograis by late round stoppage, just like beterbiev gvozdyk. I'm just happy that were getting all these great fights at the end of the year. Spence Porter, beterbiev gvozdyk, now prograis taylor, and we still got the monster donaire and Joshua Ruiz rematch to look forward too also. Plus we had Loma Campbell, Manny Thurman, Hurd Williams, and Joshua Ruiz 1 earlier this year. Looking back they're was plenty of crappy fights but there was actually quite a few gems along the way too. In an era where boxing has become more business than sport with people caring more about easy money than legacy it's nice to see the best fight the best. Super psyched for this fight!!!

Yeah, Ramirez looks better than these 2 combined.
