Jacobs vs GGG (Champion)... various had Jacobs winning
Jacobs vs Quillin (former Champion)... Peter was never the same afterwards
Jacobs vs Mora (former interim Champion)
Jacobs vs Truax (former 168 Champ whom beat DeGale)
Jacobs vs Devry (the guy whom people say just recently beat GGG)
Most trainers and industry know Jacobs is a dangerous fight for anybody.
Which of these opponents Jacobs faced would beat Jrock or the Trout (age) that fought Jermall?Comment

Kinda feel bad for Jermall, in comparison to his brother who's in a rather loaded division and has had the better opponents over the years.
Jermell's in a division where guys are more willing to fight one another, but Jermall is gonna struggle at 160 as most middleweights have over the past 4-5 years.
It's clear, GGG will NEVER fight him or anybody with a decent ring IQ, unless he's smaller and brings money (e.g. Canelo 1 &2, and Kell Brook). We saw what GGG did when Ward called his bluff for a fight at 168....but he was more than willing to face Chavez at 168.
As we all know, Demetrius Andrade is THE biggest buffoon at 160 and was pretty much given belt AND a platform (DAZN)...and nobody wants to fight his boring ass. He's priced himself out of fights and begged for years, he's done.
Canelo fights whomever he wants to fight, big or small. Most can call him a duck, but his team consistently finds either big or small guys for him to face for big paydays....and he fights rather often....can't argue with that.
Danny Jacobs just stinks and he's trying to handpick his opponents, but he's pretty much on his way out of the door in a year or two. If he can find safe and profitable fights, he's gonna take them.
Jermall said it best in his recent interview, he wants to fight more often...more than twice a year. He may want to get on it and make good on his word.
Personally, I feel the big name guys should fight twice a year...everybody else needs to be in there 3-4 times a year until they become "the man to beat".Comment

There are guys out there with NO BIG NAME that they totally avoid. So, they do the same sheeit that the big names do to them.Comment

Charlo had a chance to be the best middleweight but his lack of competition will be his downfall. Canelo is pushing himself to new heights with challenging foes while Jermall is stagnating with lower tier guys like Hogan. Canelo has surpassed Jermall Charlo. He won't catch up fighting easy fights like Hogan. If he doesn't challenge himself, he won't break his ceiling. He won't be ready when the big moment presents itself if he keeps on this path. He should have stayed at 54 where all the challenges were. His 160 run has been a joke.Comment

In fact, the only reason anyone knows who he is now is because he was signed with Golden Boy.

what great skills he showed against korobov...this is why we are getting laughable fights against 154 pound fighters that pose no threat. he got a scare after trying to cherry pick an old guy who had like 4 days to make 160 when he was planning on fighting at 168. im sure jermall and haymon went at it during their next meeting "how could you put me in the ring with someone who has a pulse! he was supposed to be drained! i want the tank davis program from now on!"Comment
