Ritson adjusted well when it looked like Davies was gonna take over early by boxing from the outside. Like many have said, match him with a top 10 opponent first. He was pretty impressive though.

Davies Jr was rank #9 with the WBA believe, and they made this fight an eliminator.

Ritson knows he may lose, but he also knows a fight with Taylor (should he win) sells 50,000 tickets at St. James Park and he earns life changing money.

Taking that fight would be very lucrative.

It does feel like Hearn is looking to sacrifice him and build/sign Taylor though.
