Dazn is out of boxing soon. Everyone in business knows this. They also didn’t get US rights for Sunday Ticket. Dazn is pulling out of aamerica end of 2020

GGG & Usyk numbers were embarrassingly low that's why they won't release the figures. They're mad the Joshua vs. Ruiz fight isn't in America and they don't expect those numbers to match the numbers of the first fight. The GGG vs. Canelo is past it's expiration date. A third fight would do well for DAZN but nowhere near what it would've done this past September. People who thought Canelo beat him the second time now think it won't be competitive after GGG's showing against Dervychenko. There is also a good possibility Canelo loses in two weeks and Sergey goes back to ESPN leaving DAZN with their #1 fighter beaten.

This is looking like HBO 2.0 to me.

They were trying to be the netflix of combat sports but everyone prefers Netflix. People have too many streaming services to pay for as it is. This never made sense to me.

It is kind of weird to be advertising in the pennysaver. That's not exactly boxing related so they must be really trying to get to the everyman?

Netflix doesn't have combat sports boyo. Your analogy sucks.

Can fighters like Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney become the future stars of the sport while on a limited platform like DAZN? Can they build a star? HBO was so good at this because they had huge mainstream shows like GOT that they could use to advertise their fights. DAZN only has a YouTube channel with under 500k subscribers.

HBO are so good at story telling. They made floyd and pac very next level superstars...

The broadcaster most likely to leave boxing is Showtime. Their 2019 schedule has been terrible and they passed on Wilder-Ortiz 2. Furthermore, their boxing ratings this year have plummeted.

DAZN is in this for the long term and they are still building their brand. The KSI-Paul fight is going to be a huge commercial for DAZN and it's going to get bigger and bigger.
They said AFTER this schedule the huge purses are going to stop.

I think that Logan Paul and KSI fight appeal may have been overrated. But we'll see
