Am I the only one that notices Beterbiev loops his punches to the back of the head?

Nope. He threws it to the temple and the other guy puts his head down. You can't hit someone in the back of the head if they're facing in front of you. You can only hit them in the back if they're behind you or their head is down.

A hook is supposed to curve, that's why it's called a hook.

It's not Arthur's fault that his opponent didn't move his head enough.

And here we go as usual
All the nut cases come out of the woodworks to try and discredit a great performance and victory
Teddy didn’t mention anything about it , nor did the broadcasting team etc etc
Maybe , just maybe Gvozdyk shouldn’t turn his body completely around
Oh yeah but then he would of been knocked out much sooner

I noticed Beterbiev put the forearm to the throat a couple times. The old Lennox Lewis trick? I also noticed Artur Beterbiev throw a lot of backhands. Pretty sure that’s an illegal punch right? One that doesn’t even make much sense though I can’t imagine it being very effective

Former light heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk will remain at a Philadelphia hospital for another night as a precaution, trainer Teddy Atlas told ESPN, after Friday night's unification bout against Artur Beterbiev.

"About an hour after the fight, Gvozdyk, with Atlas at his side, walked under his own power to a waiting ambulance in the arena tunnel for the short ride to the hospital to be checked out as a precaution. But they were still at the hospital on Saturday night.

"I'm still here with him," Atlas said. "I just brought him last night because he had pain behind his head from the punches he got hit there, so they did a scan and saw a possible small something and did another scan six hours later and [the doctor] wanted us to stay 24 hours to be safe. So we canceled his flight, and I will stay with him here another night, then [on Sunday] bring him to my home [in New York] -- just again to be safe. Then Monday, he will fly home. He is OK."

A concussive puncher who throws illegal shots is pretty tough to deal with. I cant see anybody in the division beating him now.

Bivol is nothing special but I can see him surviving 12 rds since he knows how to stink out the joint.

Kovalev is too shaky right now to hang with Beterbiev. It would be an ugly, humiliating beatdown.
                Right!...

... in fact Beterbiev is a dirty fighter, tbh...

... he sometimes wrestles, he punches to the back of the head... he uses his forearms, elbows, and the back of his gloves...

But, but: he doesn't use headbuts, he doesn't charge with his head low and doesn't tackle his opponent... he doesn't repeatedly low blows his opponent into stoppage!...
