Canelo or Bivol vs Beterbiev, make it happen. He is the most powerful puncher, although not as skillful as Canelo and Bivol. Kovalev might have a say as well.

I rather see Kov beat Canelo and take on Bivol or Beterbiev.

        Canelo v Beterbiev

Canelo is taking on the wounded champion. Why not fight Beterbiev? The real deal. Kovalev is damaged goods. I don't know if Canelo has the courage to face the animal Beterbiev, but I'm pretty sure Goldengirl won't allow it.

It's been in the works for a while. It was part of the deal with IBF for making this unification fight I believe. Either way they didn't just pluck him outta nowhere randomly.

I really hope that if/when Kovalev beats Canelo that Goldenboy doesn't have options on him or force him into an immediate rematch with Canelo. Am hoping Beterbiev fights and beats Bivol, then fights Kovalev for all the marbles....in an ideal world.

GILBERTO "ZURDO" RAMIREZ is going to end up on top of the division with all the belt's when all the smoke settles at 175 lbs.

ZURDO has the size & skills , chin , power and stamina to beat all the top fighter's at 175.

No sign of ageing yet - he is still in his prime.
                He has quick feet
His best defence is his mental processing speed - he anticipated most of the Nail's moves.
                Fantastic chin
                Great stamina
                Fantastic concentration and focus
                Great offence.

I thought he was just a skilled slugger but he is a powerful boxer/puncher.

Kovalev now has nothing to withstand the barrage of attacks, I'm not even sure peak Kov would beat last night's Beterbiev
Bivol is a better boxer than Govozdyk but has seemingly less power. Maybe he can run from the Beast all night but he won't win a decision like that.

Who else? no-one I can see. Canelo won't fancy that and won't put a dent on Beterbiev

Interesting how one standout performance can change perceptions about a whole weight class. Similar to Ward shaking things up at 168 with his Kessler performance

Good synopsis of the fight and the fighter.

                Berterbiev is the goods.
                He.is.a.bad.man!!

He knows how to fight and has a good sense of timing.

I personally think Bivol is a much better version of Gvozdyk.

For me Berterbiev v Bivol is the true 50 50 fight.

Hope we get to see it ....soon!!

He gets a rude awakening when he steps up to any of the top guys at 175.

Heck, lets see how he does against a Joe Smith then we can start talking about him beating any of the champs.

Felt sorry for Gvozdyk as he faced a relentless monster. Think nail beats everyone else in the division so we will see him back soon enough.

Just like he ended up at the top of 168 as well, right?
