If you think that’s interesting wait until you find out that Gvozdyk wasn’t “this huge favorite” and the odds on the fight were pretty close to even.

You know you’ve made it as a fighter when an imbecile makes a conspiracy theory thread about your win.

Bieterbiev is now a deep state illuminati backed by the Bilderburg group.

Word is he sits in between ***** and Jay Z at the meetings.

The bookies had it near enough even, man. Majority posters on here leaned towards Gvozdyk, but almost universally hedged it with something like 'if he can keep Beterbiev at the end of his jab'.

Everyone knew that if Beterbiev could get inside Gvozdyk was gonna be struggling.

Why was he a favorite? I don't get that.

Ring IQ played a huge factor and is sad so many people dismiss that.

The hilarious irony is, you percieve whoever that is to be idiotic but you cant even comprehend the simple meanings of words. the official story of 9/11 is a 'conspiracy', i.e it was a plan hatched by 2 or more people.

Here we go, the usual trolls and haters rear their ugly heads. Are they going to start hating on Beterbiev like they do with GGG and Loma I wonder

It’s a little known story that Beterbiev is the child of Rhas Al Ghoul and was born in an oppressive prison hole with other Chechen separatists and his birth name is Talia Al Ghoul. Nobody had ever escaped his birthplace before but Beterbiev’s physical and mental strength could not be contained and now he has climbed out of his Dagestani world and is bent on world champion title domination. Only a dark knight can defeat him.

Is everyone blind, don’t you see its fixed! The reason artur beterbiev keeps winning on knock out is because of corruption. Beterbiev is chechen but is born and raised in Dagestan and he is backed economically and has always been by the imprisoned Dagestani oliegarch Zyyavudin Magomedov. (Search his name on google)

The fighters are paid millions of dollars to loose.
This oliegarch is the same guy that also has been sponsoring Khabib Nurmagemdov (You can find this on google and also on youtube)

It all started in the amateur days were he fixed the matches for Beterbiev for example against Kovalev in the semi-finals of the Russian championship in 2007. The idea behind this was that Beterbiev could go on and fight the world championships after being Russian champion – this was an investment from the Dagestani oliegarch, Beterbiev could eventually go pro and become world champion the Oliegarch would earn even more money than he has invested. (You can find the interview where Kovalev is talking about the fight being fixed between him and Beterviev, just search Kovalev Beterbiev fixed)

Why people think all of a sudden all this post-soviet fighters starts dominating pro boxing? Russians figured out there is money in the pro world – they want to get a piece of the cake and they sure do with all this naïve people…

Come on people… Most of his fights went the distance as an amateur and he could only knock few people out and they were like mr nobodys not even top 20 fighters in Russia and now you think all of a sudden he can knock EVERY opponent out.. WAKE UP for god sake… This is all FIXED.. And as long as people going to close their eyes from the facts this bull**** going to continue.
Yeah. I'm well aware of the suggestions that Magomedov had a hand in influencing team selections and fight outcomes in the ams, but his reach is long indeed - and his pockets deep - if he's gonna be giving money to Beterbievs opponents to dive even now Artur is a naturalised Canadian in the pro ranks.

And yeah. Most of Arturs fights did go the distance in the ams. Most of everyone's fights go the distance in the ams - they were doing 3 rounds with headgear throughout Arturs ammy career. Stoppages are actually comparatively rare and in fact Artur was known for being unusually heavy handed back in the Ams as you would know if you actually had a clue.I know Boxrec only carries very incomplete records, but Arturs 30% Ammy KO over a recorded 26 fights record is, in fact, pretty extraordinary.
