It is no end from the Nail. I got the wrong pick. Picked the Nail to beat Beterbiev in a fire fight, they did in the last 5 rounds, and i was Beterbiev was the one who won it.

But he'll be back to beat Beterbiev

    But still WAR GVOZDYK!!!

Cong**** on the New Unified IBF&WBC Lineal LHW ARTHUR BETERBIEV!

Yeah, I was going for the Nail as well, but from what you guys say, it was a hell of a fight and that's what it's all about.

    And yes.

    Hats off to Beterbiev!!!

These 50/50 fights make boxing great.

If Gvozdyk learns how to fight dirty with dirty he has a chance. He was too technical and just boxed. He needed to fight. Every time he slipped hooks Beterbiev would push his head down with everything he had. He would then transition that into head control into hooks.

That gassed Gvozdyk bad and that's why he lost. Yeah he was hurt a few times in between but they didnt hurt him as much as the above.

Indeed. Gvozdyk was having too much "gotte be safe than sorry" mentality, and when he hurt Beterbiev, he just was content on boxing him instead of hurting Beterbiev.

I'd like to see him fight Bivol or Kovalev if he beats Canelo, Beterbeiv is just too much for him.

My impression in this fight from Gvozdyk is that he doesn't like strong pressure fighters, he want distance-distance, for me, he'll likely beat everyone EXCEPT Beterbiev, unless he changes his mentality.

I don't like how he never took chance on Beterbiev, Gvozdyk has a chin and some of his punches indeed moved Beterbiev especially in the 5-7 rounds.

Gvozdyk has all the tools to be great, he even showed that he had a chin tonight, but he is missing that IT factor. So even though he might hold another title somewhere down in the future due to his talent, I don't think he will ever be THE GUY in the division.

Want to see Gvozdyk come back against Jesse Hart. Stylistically, I still LOVE the thought of Gvozdyk/Kovalev

Maybe he comes back stronger than ever like Lomachenko after Salido. Maybe he doesnt. But that's the change from the amateurs to the pros.

In the amateurs you just box. In the pros theres a little bit more to the game than there was before. Gotta dirty up that style Gvozdyk.
