I never really gave a damn, people still get screwed by promoters, King's just the big fish...or was.

Don King invented the PPV and still holds the record for fights sold. What was the rumble 5 bucks? Adjust for inflation on an internat inflation calculator that's 26 dollars....for what was in his time the money-pac fight, while the men were still young no less.

Boxing had a bunch of BS politics and ducks, sanction bodies forced things like mandos and such which limited ducking until the bodies split titles and then the only thing that made the biggest names come together in a timely fashion for a reasonable price, DK.

I got no issue at all with King. I wouldn't work for him, but, I'd buy his products again, probably. I'd've bought his products back in the day for sure.
