Glad Spence is ok. 280-300K buys for Spence-Porter is outstanding in this day and age with pirate streams everywhere. Will Lomo or Crawford ever in their entire lives headline a 280K ppv, where they are the A-side?? I think not.

Well **** apparently its only a felony if you were drag racing. So in Texas you can be driving 150 mph and its only a misdemeanor and a 200 dollar fine for the charge they gave him.

Yep. As high as the speed was upon crashing, they SHOULD get the black box and find out more of exactly what happened. It's a miracle some innocent bystanders weren't injured or killed. Yet he's barking to the media like he's superman. More like ******boy.

Spence obviously has a drinking problem which to me means he shouldn't drink at all. If he continues to drink his life won't go well.

I've been there and done that and one of the wisest things I have done is to stop drinking. When I stopped drinking I also changed who I associated with (other drinkers). Hope it doesn't take Spence as long as it took me to face up to the truth which is "some people can drink and some people can't"

Two things 1) He was above the legal limit to drive 2) Whether or not he is a drinker has much to do with his pattern of drinking. Does he drink regularly and does he frequently drink to much. If the answer is #2 then he has a drinking problem and should not drink at all.

He may have blew money but a lot of rich people blow money. 60% of professional athletes go broke but 1 thing about Floyd he always had the ability to make it back and with his investments he won't have to worry about going broke anymore.

Floyd never wasted time because he was always focused on his craft at the end of the day, Floyd's main problem was women but anyone who has a lot of women are going to have issues at some point.

I don't have a problem with the charges Spence wound up with. In my opinion a fine, probation and community service would be appropriate punishment, especially as it is a first offense. My real concern is whether or not Spence will learn from this experience and set his life path on a straighter course. If something like this or worse happens again then things will and be should be much tougher on Spence.

Spences experience should be a lesson for us all.

All you wrote was a bunch of BS. Mr. "I met a professional athlete" You're around here attempting to make excuses for a grown man. Errol Spence is a 30 year old man who had no business going out getting drunk and then driving putting his as well as other peoples lives in danger. The dude didn't even get into boxing until he was well into his teen years then got with Haymon and had an easy road to a title shot, he hasn't been under any pressure and stop trying to compare boxing to other sports, they are nothing a like.

Exactly. I've also been following Spence for years myself. Now, I don't claim to know the man personally, but from everything I've seen of him he became more and more arrogant with time with this "I'm the cash cow now" mentality he's been displaying of late, and to be honest If he had to fight at his true weight class which is 154 I think it'd show all of you what I'd been saying for a while now that skill for skill Spence is really not that great. He's been getting by on his physical abilities more than boxing skills at 147 which is why Haymon has been keeping him far away from Bud Crawford.

yeah, he didn't want to touch them so he hit them.
