For everyone saying how sad this is, and it is very sad, how many of you are the same ones defending Wilder's comments about wanting "a body on his record?" I bet none of you idiots will answer this one
This is a thread to pay respects to a warrior that passed, not bring up idiotic comments from another boxer. Pull your head out of your behind.
Sad day for boxing. Next time someone calls a boxer a pussy, that even includes Khan, this what these boys face everyday they step in that ring. So choose your words carefully.

You are making no sense, you know what he means and why he says it.
I was there the night Gabriel Ruelas TKO'd Jimmy Garcia in the 11th rd for the WBC super featherweight title. Cinco De Mayo weekend 1995. I was cheering for Ruelas but the last three rds many including my self were yelling to stop the fight. Garcia died 13 days later. from brain damage. For many years it bothered me that I cheered during the fight. So when fans boo a refs early decision to end a fight we should think of the alternative.

I knew Wilder wasn't sincere with his remarks as he even later admitted it was for marketing.
It still wasn't a good look.
I wonder how many young kids are still mimicking his remarks.
You will definitely be missed champ. His fight against adames showed that he was a skilled & game fighter, just lacked power. Rest easy though & my condolences to his family
