The two camps burned the midnight oil-and well beyond-in order to come to terms for a planned showdown and avoiding a purse bid hearing in the process. Neither a date nor location has yet been revealed for the bout, in which Avanesyan will defend his European Boxing Union (EBU) welterweight title.

Where Avanesyan works to improve, kelly continues to force his ridiculous energy draining style on his opponents. Kelly deserved to lose his last outing and should realize his style will continue to lose at this level. Really a frustrating fighter to watch. I held out hope for kelly but he shows no interest in working on fundamentals.
