People have been saying that since the Cloud fight... Yet the pros acknowledge the great technique of Beterbiev... Hell! Even Gvozdyk says in this very thread that Beterbiev is "Stylish"...Beterbiev has an excellent footwork and good avoidance abilities... Not the Dance and Bounce kind of fighter but again that's not what he is.. A move forward high volume Boxer will of course be open to some hits... Doesn't make him a bad technician, just a different style Elite fighter...

Beterbeiv doesn't have the Ring IQ or footwork to outpoint or put a beating on Gvozdyk. Late TKO or points victory for Gvozdyk

He will surprise you, I think he can box well and we will see Gvozdky behind on points when he turns it on late rounds

If Gvozdyk fights at 100% and does not get sloppy, he wins. Unfortunately he does get sloppy at times and Beterbiev is not a guy to get sloppy against.

Probably not a good way to box Beterbiev how Johnson approached it. Gvozdyk will not be boxing Beterbiev like that.

But remembering the fight, I didn't like the 1st knockdown. Beterbiev punched through the ropes. Probably legal, but Johnson didn't expect that.

The 2nd knockdown Beterbiev's punch landed very high on top of Johnson's head.

For me it took something away from the win...

I was going to mention that. I’m sure the first knockdown was after the ref said stop.

Would like to see a fully fit CJ in a title fight.

Gvozdyk got sloppy before Atlas.
He got his slop together in the Adonis fight.
