Everyone ignoring this? This is the business we've chosen, don't try to bury this thread. This guy deserves some respect.

Ah ok, well glad people have been covering this.. I tried searching the forum before I made that thread but came up with no search results, weird...anyway I don't think there should be a limit to how many threads Day should get in support of him from the community, we should all be pulling for him and I don't doubt that almost all of you guys are indeed pulling for him. Just really bums me out when I see these guys get hurt and see the words "critical condition."

Gotta be fair and give props to Conwell for taking care of his business, though, and also showing remorse and respect in the post fight wishing Day well and giving thoughts and prayers to his family, class act. I hope Day takes a year off and really thinks about stepping back into the ring so he doesn't get any more damage done to him, he fought and went out on his shield like a pro.

Most definitely deserves respect. Most have the mentality of live by the sword die by the sword.

That's basically what it comes down to imo. The first confirmed case of
          dementia pugilistica was in 1928.
