  • Comments Thread For: Usyk Would Prefer Fighting Joshua Over Andy Ruiz Next

As the WBO's mandatory challenger, Oleksandr Usyk is guaranteed a shot at that sanctioning organization's heavyweight title. The date and opponent for that heavyweight championship match are beyond his control. Usyk made it clear, however, that he hopes he gets to battle British superstar Anthony Joshua in his next fight for that championship.

This overrated clown is looking for a quick big payday without working for it. That’s why he signed with Matchroom then fought a bum and won’t fight anyone else until he gets his shot.

But sorry to burst your bubble - you won’t get it. You have to earn it. No free payday. AJ will most likely dump the belt in the bin. Earn your shot by fighting 1 or 2 live bodies. You don’t have two heads.

Which out of the top contenders can Wilder beat? I’ll start taking Wilder seriously when he starts fighting proper boxers not 49-yr old men.

He should start by fighting his mandatory Dillian Whyte who he has ducked for 600 days. Usyk would get sparked out back to Odessa. An inactive bum disfigured his face - AJ would kill that boy.

Nah he just dont wanna duck a sh^tload of money Im thinking.

EVERYONE in the HW division should be wanting Joshua to win & to fight Joshua. Hes the money guy. Hell if he gets ktfo to Andy twice in a row hes still the money guy or worst case among the top money guys.

Lol tough question. I feel like losing to either would eff AJ up mentally a lil bit. Neither L would be a good one. A Wilder L is gonna be AJ KTFO wondering what just happened. A Usyk L is likely to be a feel longer than it is 36 minute schooling.

I do like his chances better vs Wilder than Usyk assuming Usyk's chin isnt trash.

Usyk will want that payday , they're not going for Joshua right away, they will build it up for late 2020 . If Ruiz wins then of course they will want to block Haymom fighter from running away and get the belts back. Pulev is !it's problematic with dealing with because of Arum, get him out of the way first.
