Warrington made short work of Sofiane Takoucht in the third defence of his IBF featherweight title at the First Direct Arena, Leeds, on Saturday, taking less than two rounds to stop the Frenchman.

Warren said. “There are two ways of getting out of a fight you don’t want, one is to say no, the other is to price yourself out of it.”

He omitted lowballing the other fighter so there's no incentive to travel to the UK!

What kind of gate numbers is he doing? Anybody can claim they're a huge draw by selling ultra cheap tickets in their hometown, like Jose Ramirez and Gabe Flores, but those fights don't make a lot money. Selling out Dignity Health Park (formerly StubHub Center) or a reduced capacity Staples Center against Santa Cruz or Valdez will probably generate more money than if it was in the Warrington's hometown. That beings said, I don't think PBC has any interest in allowing LSC to fight anyone outside of their stable. What's the excuse for avoiding Shakur though?
