Devin Haney already has a fight lined up for next month, so he won't be available to face Lomachenko this year. Loma's also trying to become undisputed, and we all know that unifications usually take precedence over mandatory title defenses. If Loma becomes undisputed and Haney's still his mandatory challenger, then the fight can take place. He may have to wait in line, because Loma would have mandatories across all sanctioning bodies.
