Don’t know the actual numbers though as announced attendance is always inflated.

If you’re surprised Usyk-Witherspoon did 10k, you forgot that Miller-Adamek did 10k in the same arena.

I'm not surprised Usyk Did 10k and just surprised it sold better than American super star A side Deontay Wilder.

Is this true? Shocking if it is.
No it isn’t. I believe Usyk- Witherspoon Crowd was just short of 9,500 while Wilder/Brazeale was just north of 13,000.

My guess is the tickets for the Wilder fight were more expensive.

The ethnic based shows in Chicago with cards featuring Fighters from Russia and Poland tend to do well so I am not surprised a card featuring Usyk and Bivol did almost 10k.

Just don't know how many times it's guna be proven wilder ain't no super star.
AJ is the highest paid Boxer in the business at this stage - and if he wins, expect that to continue.

Joshua became a bigger Star by losing, and if he manages to win the rematch (which i'm 50/50 if he can), then he will be even more of a super star.

Why do you think Al Haymon waits for AJ's fights to be announced and then schedules in Wilder's 1-2 weeks before? This isn't a coincidence, they are trying to get whatever gloss they can, smart business move.

If he wins, i see him doing a 3rd fight with Ruiz, and make even more money.

I think the reality is that Wilder and Fury are getting over-paid (meaning, their promoters / networks are losing money as they don't generate it, thus they are being paid on speculation), whereas Joshua is getting paid his due (for what he generates).

        Interesting times ahead for sure.

As far as I remember, Chicago has the largest Ukranian population in the US. I wouldn't be surprised if 95% of the tickets were bought by them

How many actual tickets were sold for Usyk/Witherspoon? And what was the live gate for the event?
