anyone who says they support that is an idiot.

They’re also probably the same people defending Claressa Shields right about now.

Most people don't ''support it'' because it's not that important.

Strange how fight fans want them to INTENTIONALLY hurt each other.

One of the last true gladiator sports left in a world that clearly has gone softer than a jar of banana baby f,ood. If you want to mention Adonis Stevenson, Patrick Day, and Maxim Dadashev, you need to mention the fighters that have no choice but to box as a living. The Losers, who have 20-23 or 20-50 records who time after time get in the ring because it's a check to collect. Deontay Wilders ego wants him to be feared as a viscious puncher. He has shown he can punch, but can that punch make him the undisputed heavyweight champion. Should he be able to put a body on his record, who knows the psychological affect that is going to have on him as a fighter. Mike Perez was never the same after the Magomed Abdusalamov fight. Sergey Kovalev had an opponent die after a contest and he never lost a wink of sleep. He kept on his rise to a world title. Now he is going into the biggest money fight of his life. Because you do not like what was said you still made a post about it and brought more attention to Deontay Wilder and his words. Making polarizing comments in boxing is nothing new, and a lot of the time comments are made in poor taste. But you remember who made those comments and you are going to watch to see them lose or to see them win if you agree with them. I personally like and put my support behind Deontay Wilder. It was like he came out of nowhere to make the Olympics when Adam Willet was the number 1 heavyweight in the country for the past 2 years before then. He said what he said. We will see how he backs it up.
How can you just assume Kovalev was unaffected by Roman Simakov's death? That's a ridiculous assumption.

Read that article. It literally addresses him having trouble sleeping after that among other things..

Hurt yeah not kill. It's not known as the kill game. People want knockouts but they also want to see the guy get back up. Look at Charles Conwells face plummet after realising Patrick Day was not going to get up.

Christ look at Subriel Matias' twitter page. One tweet that says I'm so sorry. Very sad. Wonder if he'll ever be able to fight again...

Wilder is obviously just saying this stuff for shock value and attention but I still think it's reprehensible personally but at the same time I've learned to look past it like some WWE trash talk soap opera nonsense at this point.

You won't get an educated answer on here. Just know that. Most of Wilder's fans are like Canelo fans or Trump fans, they don't deal in reality at all. And they have no problem changing the subject to make themselves seem right. The fact is, Wilder fights bums and by fighting bums, his ego is sky high. so he acts like he's unbeatable and he says ******ed stuff all the time without thinking. Then he back tracks on what he says and changes the subject. "I won't fight a drug cheat" then he turns right around and fight Ortiz and Fury, when they both were caught on steroids. I think the second he said he wants a body on his record, he should have been stripped of his title. It's as bad as him getting caught with steroids to me.

Every top fighter goes into the ring with a kill or be killed mentality.

I support Wilder for being honest about it.

I remember when he originally said this around last year I was pretty enraged and upon minor digging I recall a tweet by Mauricio Sulaiman saying he'd look into these allegations or something vague and non committal. I mean the man said it live on that garbage radio show Breakfast Club. What was there to look into lol?
