They don't care about boxing. TMZ did post a video interview with Shawn Porter about the accident. The accident happened late so there was not that much coverage about it until the morning. Plenty of the sources I follow kept me up to date on what happened. Once they said he had no broken bones and was expected to recover that is all fans really need to hear.

That was the best case scenario. If he died it would be all over the news. Fortunately he will be OK, and if he fights in Brooklyn I will be there like always.

was involved in a serious, single-car accident early this morning and is being treated at Dallas-area hospital. Spence is awake & responding and his condition is stable. He did not sustain any broken bones—but has some facial lacerations.

Still don't know about internal injuries or muslce damage. I'm not a doctor.

As far as the police go I didn't say he won't be charged. There are people on this board saying he was driving drunk. I stated that there was someone that posted online a picture of him and Errol 2 hours before the accident, and stated that he was not under the influence of anything. I was referring to that.

When you say casual on a board like this it is assumed that it is someone that barely follows the sport. That was the misunderstanding.

That was not my intention at all ( casual ) , just by your joining date I would assume you are not that Casual lol
Now , PBC’s Twitter is not really a great source imo
Big Al would want this chit washed away and life keeps going
Maybe I’m a pessimistic but I believe a whole lot of chit will come out of this
It’s hard not to suggest that Spence was fughed up on something
It’s usually not a straight guy who beats the chit out of his Ferrari and Spence has gotten a bad reputation as of late
I hope the guy is just a adrenaline junky

he could get DUI charges if alcohol is found in his blood.

Well for starters if he was drunk
Secondly driving recklessly ( not sure what the law is in Texas )
Thirdly to save his fughin ass

When a DUI charge Is in place, the law in Texas is f hard.

Camera in the car, Breathalyzer, Periodic visits from a parole Officer, etc.

Well that’s kind of what I figured cause they are getting tougher and tougher with the DUI ‘s
My point is just cause not much news out , so my thinking is some chit is going on behind the scenes and most likely for criminal reasons
