Will Errol Spence ever be the same?

Spencer had half his teeth knocked out during this car accident. As well as lots of scar tissue on his face. That is some serious stuff especially since he get punched in the mouth/chin for a living.

Can Spence still compete at the elite level?

I doubt`t he will ever be the same. he is probably done. I see him to come back maybe in next 18 months for a tune up, but he will probably get stripped of titles before that.

I hope so, hes a great fighter in his prime with much more to achieve and the more great fighters we keep in this game the better. After watching the crash and reading the early breaking reports the other day im just happy we can be making threads like this.

Heard he was in a coma for two days. Is this true?

If so, that means he has suffered major brain trauma and will probably never be the same.

He's also not young. Not like he can just come back after a couple years off. He might be finished.

I read reports saying he was sat up and was talking coherently within the 1st 12 hours after the accident.

I hope so. It would be a shame to lose one of the young up and coming stars in the game.

Outside of Canelo and Pacquiao he is the only fighter currently who is capable of selling PPVs in the United States.

Theyve been super quiet. I havent seen any serious updates on his condition since like Thursday/Friday now.

No updates on Spences media, no photos of spence. Only the article from Friday saying he had facial lacerations and no broken bones..... so why isnt he out of the hospital yet and why are their no photos?

The longer it goes on the more I think he is seriously injured and could have had a major concussion or something.

Sure the Public Relations people probably want to keep bad publicity out of the news for his pending DUI arrest but that is still just a misdemeanor and he has money for lawyers so its not the end of the world. I thought that might be the reason for no updates but Im thinking there is something up with his condition/injuries.

errol spence should retire imo. he needs to spend time with Jesus. put the bottle down and the drugs away. its time to be real with himself and his purpose in this life. Jesus saved him that night. Jesus has a greater purpose for him other than fighting. he shouldn't ignore this sign from heaven. errol needs to go on a pilgrimage to find himself and God's REAL purpose for him in this life.
