"Northwestern Memorial boasts a long standing reputation for housing the top neurosurgeons, with patients being flown in from around the world in efforts to seek top-level medical care."

Thank God he is in good hands.

Patrick Day...all thoughts and prayers be with you and your family today and always!
It just seems as if this situation is continuing to get worse. Is there any kind of correlation anybody possibly sees? Are opponents getting stronger? Glove size hasn’t changed. Maybe we do need to go back to same day weigh ins.

Prayers for him, I'm really hoping for the best but that did not look good. Those punches he was eating before he went down then his head bouncing on the canvas like that, very hard to watch

I really hate things like this, am praying that God pulls him through this. It’s best they put him in an induced coma and let any swelling go down, before they wake him up.

Hopefully it's a "drug induced" coma, which has become one of the preferred methods of treatment.

It wasn't that long ago that fighters were instantly hauled up onto a stool, or even upright, instead of told to "stay down," and take their time.

Now we know that immediate oxygen and even "induced" coma is a good way to stabilize the situation, and reduce movement that might cause additional swelling.
