Of course DAZN is going to say that. They signed GGG to a big deal based on at least one fight with Canelo. They forgot to talk to the Cash Cow himself instead of taking Oscar De La Hoys’s word for it.
Turns out much of BBB sides deal is in DAZN equity instead of cash. Right now DAZN isn’t in the black so that equity doesn’t amount to anything.
Canelo made himself clear. He doesn’t need the third GGG fight. If they never fight again the history books will say a draw and a W no matter what BBB sides 12 groupies on a message board say.
If DAZN really wants the fight they will have to pony up even more to make it worth the Cash Cow’s time.

This thing about putting all your eggs in one basket
is taken from Eddie Hearns playbook, ie., the infamous Khan/Brook,
AJ/Wider, etc., and look what happened.

And it's ****** and they never learn.

These folks have no ability to move on and focus on other things.

Canelo has already said NO to a trilogy a thousand times.
How many more times does he have to say it?

the ONLY people interested in a third fight are triple flop fans. Everybody else moved on.

triple flop now owes derevy and jacobs a rematch.

this would be the most worthless pointless trilogy in boxing history.

Nah let’s wait till 2022. This way they’ll know for sure GGG can be stopped by cuts because his skin will be thinner because he’ll be 10 years past his prime and the tainted meat guy Will believe he stopped GGG three times

I think there is going to be some conflict between dazn and golden boy with canelo. Nobody wants to see a third fight.

Canelo has plenty of high quality matches that can be made. I dont understand why they keep trying to contradict canelo.

If this forces BJS to fight Andrade cause he can't wait for a pay day. I'll settle for it. But I personally can't take anything else good from this fight so idc for it...

If they do rematch, it makes a whole a lot of sense to do it at 168 than 160. For one, cutting from 175 down to 160 for Canelo could impact his performance and I think it is becoming VERY hard for GGG to make MW now. Both would be at their best at 168 IMO.

Saying that, I can't say I care too much for the trilogy, but do understand that it does great business for DAZN so it makes perfect business sense.

Brilliant folks at DAZN, they guarantee astronomical numbers and then have attorneys that allow the fighter to dictate to the network who, when and where they are willing to fight.. AKA= "Imbeciles"....
