Keep on ducking. The whole world knows its 1-1 yet Canelo would rather move up than rematch GGG.

Canelo has been saying things that makes sense. He already defeated GGG soundly, and Derevyanchenko beat GGG as well. GGG doesn't deserve to share the ring with canelo as he hasn't looked good, is not putting in the effort to step up, is overpaid, not a draw by himself, and somehow he jumps the queue to fight canelo. Puh-lease....he needs to get back in line and give Derevyanchenko a rematch, and try to beat him with no controversy this time, then fight andrade or charlo. Winner gets canelo.

How can someone convincingly beat someone, yet only be separated by a round? The second fight was close, there shouldn't be any debate in that. Those who keep saying Canelo soundly beat him or dominated, seem to only watch highlight videos because the whole fight showed something much closer.

Im not a fan boy, I thought he won and I said he should rematch GGG to put a end to it he did and beat him even more convincingly. How many retries do you want GGG to get? all meanwhile doing nothing but looking like damaged goods inbetween lmfao. NOBODY believe GGG can beat Canelo now after his Dervy performance lol the only people who are asking for the 3rd now are a very small group of people and that is GGG die hard fans and canelo haters.

So in other words, I'll only fight the guys who might beat me.

that's what I said yesterday on the other thread

                    hah he went there lmao

                    good job... bad timing

you need to go there AFTER a showcase performance

there are 4 opponents who would give him that opportunity

and those guys are ALL 1 fight away from being in that same position... like back when all the welters waited around for Mayweather, despite many of them only needing 1 showcase performance to force the issue...

e.g. Derevyanchenko would be a strong option for Canelo in May, had he been given the nod against Golovkin

Andrade has 4 possible opportunities to justify demanding that fight... Charlo also has 4 possible opportunities to justify demanding that fight... Derevyanchenko has 3 possible opportunities to justify demanding that fight... Golovkin has 2 possible opportunities to justify demanding that fight...

Jacobs has 3 possible opportunities to justify demanding that fight, but he would need to take 2 of them... and he would need to take both of those opportunities in impressive fashion, same with Golovkin... Jacobs and Golovkin would need to look great to get another crack...

Jacobs and Derevyanchenko seem to be the most willing participants in the middleweight puzzle, including Canelo... and Jacobs could be more likely to fight AND beat 2 of the other top contenders, before each of them beat 1 of the other contenders

fk knows what Canelo will be doing while that is happening

the Kovalev fight will be good, but not really that interested in all the weight jumping stuff... stay in one division and SMASH it...

the best fights could be Jacobs/Charlo, that would be a shootout... and Canelo/Derevy could be another punishing technical matchup

My support for Canelo started diminishing when i realised he will never rematch fighters once he gets the W, even if he didn’t win. Plenty of people thought he lost to Lara and they didn’t even entertain a rematch, just never acknowledged it was a close fight.

Now once he got an arguable gift decision v GGG, he does the same.

As i’ve said many times, and i was never a big fan of Floyd, but he got right back in with Castillo and Maidana after tough close fights, despite already having the W on the record over them. He could’ve ran with the W but wanted to prove he was better. I respect that. It’s hard to respect Canelo’s ways. Good fighter but that’s all. Greatness isn’t scraping past every big fight, some by gift.
