Comments Thread For: Joshua, Chisora Plan To Spar For Upcoming Fights With Ruiz, Price

Dereck Chisora says he is hoping to spar with Anthony Joshua in his final preparation for facing David Price. Chisora faces Price in a heavyweight clash at the O2 Arena, London, on October 26 and he said he hoped to go to Sheffield next week to work with Joshua, who has started his camp for his December 7 rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr.

That sparring will benefit chisora but not joshua. Chisora may be able to pressure, but he isn't anywhere close to Andy in hand speed and quickness.

Chisora didn't look motivated in his last interview, Price being a pal and coming in late has really hurt him imo. Plus he's apparently not even using a trainer for this fight, going solo. Del Boy is probably due for one of those stinker performances. Think Price sees how close he is to breaking through now, legitimately think Price pulls the upset now

Isn't it a bit late for chisora to be sparring now?

The only thing he can help with is dealing with pressure and rolling with punches coming from a heavy handed opponent. If I was Joshua, I would have called a good cruiser weight to prepare for someone like Ruiz. Anyways it's better than nothing and it may help prepare for future fights if he beats Ruiz.

                Can’t see it myself

I’ve always had a soft spot for price but chisora will end him

Chisora works the body well before switching up , price will be s**ting bricks before getting ko’d . Fight goes 8 tops
