Frank Bruno - the best ever?

Just thought i'd throw this into the arena.....

Frank Bruno - the best ever??

Consider it. GRANITE chin, incredible fight record spanning many years, "comedy" personality. I personally think he is the best P4P ever, taking into account his hand speed, chin, and record.

    Anyone agree/disagree?

He is UNDER rated in my opinion, but that's only cos people look on him as a complete no hoper. He was a pretty decent fighter, with solid wins over McCall, Pierre Coetzer, Joe Bugner, Gerrie Coetzee, Carl Williams. He also gave Lewis and Tyson a few problems. But he's not even in the top thousand heavies of all time. He was a solid enough European level fighter who was absolutely TERRIFIED of Tyson.

I never said it was a great win, just a solid one!! He was 37 anyway. That's hardly ancient.

Why are you calling him the best ever, if you say that he was just a "pretty decent fighter"?

Bruno is my favotite brit fighter and one of my all time favorite heavyweight fighters ever . If big Frank would have came around at some other time he could have been much better he was just a bad match up for Tyson and Lewis .
