I think they believe that Loma would be franchised soon enough, they are the one number guy for that belt. Wasn't he meant to fight Campbell or was it abdulev that was meant to fight Campbell for that belt? So yeah they are putting pressure on Loma, Arum doesn't want this fight for whatever reason, I would be pissed if Loma drop the belt without defending it and doing the undisputed fight with Comney/Lopez.

I like Haney but he’s gotta put himself in Loma’s shoes. If you had spent the better part of two years working on unifying the LW division, and he was one fight away from getting it done. Would Haney put that on hold to fight some young up and comer? My guess is absolutely not.

My hope for Loma is to unify and then avenge that one blemish on his record and end Salido’s career. And then just go on tour fighting the best out there at 130-135.

Yeah i do find that hilarious.

The funny thing is, unless Haney decides he can’t make 135 in the summer, he’ll 100% get the Loma fight. Tank obviously doesn’t want it so as WBC mandatory, Haney will be offered the fight.

We know the same people demanding it (the same demanding Walters then Rigo now Lopez) will just pretend that Haney and Lopez were garbage and they didn’t like them and pretend Tank wants to fight him and that Loma’s “ducking” him.
