Surprising that Nacho has anything good to say about Canelo.
He and Juan Manuel Marquez have spent the last 8 years denigrating and throwing shade at Canelo at every opportunity.

When the Canelo vs Kovalev fight was announced a couple of weeks ago Nacho made it a point to say he was not the least bit interested in watching it and implying the fight was not worth watching.

        Canelo doing the Mayweather

Canelo learned well from Mayweather, to fight the marquee fighters when they are past their prime.

Whom are the notable killers Floyd faced at 29 years of age having moved up 2 classes to begin with?

I think you're trying to re-frame the argument, which is: Canelo is doing the same as what Mayweather was doing fighting marquee opponents past their prime. It's a smart business decision, because there is more pay and less risk and your resume fills out nicely as you go. Because people who don't follow boxing will see big, notable wins but won't see the asterisks, e.g.
              * was the fighter past their prime
              * was the fight in fighters preferred weight or Floyd's/Canelo's preferred weight

What Canelo is doing is still commendable but like his team said, they see weaknesses in Kovalev.
I will be going for Kovalev regardless, and hope he can control the distance to protect his body.

Canelo would beat the crap outta the current washed up GGG (who got a blatant gift against Derev), GGG is finished

Kovalev is washed up too, but the size and power difference is so big that it will play a key role

You´re only as good as your last fight, and Kovalev looked way better than GGG on that, Kovalev is still very dangerous

truth is, ginger should be considered the underdog in this fight, I don´t see him ¨blasting out¨ Kova even if he wins

in fact, Canelo could very well take a career ending beating here

what a brave warrior this ginger is,

I wish all cash cows of boxing were like this, instead of being cherrypickers and duckers like Mayweather
