Right amount of money? Isn’t his contract pretty well a flat rate per fight? I thought that interview was after the fight.

you are wrong on both, interview was made by tvazteca a week before the fight, and canelos 35 mil per fight is a minimum, which means if dazn wants the fight they can offer him more money..
ggg is being paid 15 mil per fight, with an extra 10 mil if canelo fight happens, thats almost 40% upside, if canelo asks for a similar upside he could end up with 55 mil instead of 35... of course dazn doesnt have to offer that amount, just as well as canelo doesnt have to fight ggg...
im positive dazn will get enough revenue to cover those purses... but we'll se how bad they want this fight..

If dazn couldn’t force canelo’s hand to do the fight in September when it was a lot more meaningful than it is now, I don’t see them throwing more money at it going forward.

You give yourself with all your little g and tripple flop insults. You are just a classless hater who can't even show the respect to call a boxer you dislike by his right name.
triple flop is a nobody. he now owes jacobs and derevy a rematch. why dont u tell him to honor those fights first? why should canelo keep constantly blessing his unworthy ass with paydays? will canelo get credit if he wins? NO. so it is a WASTE OF HIS TIME. it'll be a step backwards. if triple flop was "old" after the 2nd fight they're gonna call him senile after a third. canelo gains nothing. thats why he's not even entertaining the idea of a third fight.
