It's fights like this that turn people away from boxing. Along with bad reffing, crooked judges, corrupt sanctioning bodies, multiple worthless titles, fighters only fighting once or twice a year, and all the politics with promoters and platforms. It's a shame that boxing has turned into a business 1st and a sport 2nd. Everyone wants to get paid a bunch of money to fight janitors just so they don't have to risk an L. Even the fans now a days spend more time arguing about which fighter makes the most money and who's the A-side rather than wanting to see the best fight the best. It's like almost no one cares about what legacy they leave behind as long as they get paid as much as possible with the least amount of risk. It really sucks that the sport I love so much has devolved into what it is today. We still get some good fights here and there, enough to keep me following the sport, but we're definitely missing out on the best fights.Comment
